Cristiano Bergodi has been told that his job on the Pescara bench is safe despite yet another defeat at the weekend.
The seaside club lost 2-0 at home to Cagliari on Sunday which has cemented their place in the relegation zone.
“We’re going ahead with Bergodi,” stated Pescara chief Daniele Sebastiani. “The problem here is not the Coach.”
Pescara have collected just one point from the last 18 on offer.
“I still believe in safety,” added the Stadio Adriatico President. “But I have to say that I’ve seen some players who probably aren’t giving their all and that is not right.”
