Miroslav Klose believes Lazio have the opportunity to challenge for the Scudetto. “There’s a good atmosphere.”
The Biancocelesti are the surprise package of the campaign and lie in second place, five points off leaders Juventus.
“My rapport with the city of Rome continues to go well,” the striker told the official website of the German Dfb Federation.
“I have now settled in and have become more consistent in my performances. There’s a good atmosphere in the city and that is what I want, for the fans to continue standing by us the way they have done so far.
“It is incredible with what love and enthusiasm they are supporting us. I find it all wonderful.
“Juventus are a great team and clearly the favourites for the Scudetto, while we need to be more consistent and clinical in front of goal. That way we could earn even more points to stay close to the leaders.
“At the end of the season, we’ll see who is better off.”
