Maran targets Roma upset

Rolando Maran believes Catania can get the better of Roma this afternoon with “humility and courage.”

There is bad blood between these clubs, so it would mean a lot to the Elefantini to secure a victory at the Stadio Massimino. Click here for a match preview.

“We need courage and humility against Roma, as we must begin the second half of the season on the right foot,” said the Coach.

“We are on our path and the team has proved it with results. We know how dangerous Roma can be, so must use pace and unity to hurt them.

“We are stepping on to the field in order to give our fans satisfaction.”

Francesco Lodi sits out his three-match ban for violent conduct, while Marco Biagianti is injured.

Catania squad for Roma: Andujar, Frison, Terracciano; Alvarez, Augustyn, Bellusci, Capuano, Legrottaglie, Marchese, Potenza, Rolín, Spolli; Almiron, Barrientos, Castro, Izco, Paglialunga, Ricchiuti, Salifu; Bergessio, Doukara, Gomez, Keko
