The temperature is rising for tomorrow’s Rome Derby and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo warns Roma “have to change mentality.”
On Sunday afternoon arch rivals Lazio and Roma face off at the Stadio Olimpico in what is sure to be a thriller. Click here for a match preview.
“Of course the derby can be a fundamental game and not just because of what it means as a stand-alone clash,” Osvaldo told Roma Channel.
“I think it could give us an extra gear to go forward. We have never lacked determination, although in some matches we played well for 30-35 minutes and then I cannot fathom why we just changed attitude.
“We need to be more determined and consistent, not letting go psychologically. We have to change mentality.
“My message to the fans is that we need you. You always give us that extra push, so cheer us on to the end and we will give it our all.”
It has been a great campaign so far for Osvaldo, who is scoring regularly both for Roma and Italy.
“I have changed a great deal and my experience in Spain helped me to grow as a person as well as a player. Of course you realise your mistakes and try to reduce them, which I think I am doing.”
