Daniele De Rossi is likely to miss Roma’s match with Palermo tomorrow evening after he skipped training.
The midfielder pulled up on Friday with an inflammation of the right ankle and was not present at this morning’s training session.
It is therefore highly improbable that De Rossi will recover in time to face Palermo on Sunday evening.
His absence should give Miralem Pjanic a rare opportunity to play this season, while Panagiotis Tachtsidis returns from suspension.
While Federico Balzaretti and Rodrigo Taddei have recovered, the Giallorossi also trained today without Maarten Stekelenburg and Bogdan Lobont.
Pablo Daniel Osvaldo should be ready after bruising his ankle on Friday.
