“I’m not surprised by the interest in his services, but I think it is rather premature to talk about the transfer market.
“And, in all honesty, I think Milan have other problems to deal with at this moment in time.”
Milan No 1 Christian Abbiati is only contracted to the San Siro giants, who are hovering just about the drop zone after a nightmare start to the season, until June 2013.
Consigli is a 25-year-old former Italian Under-21 international who has made seven appearances so far this term.
