Chievo Verona won’t be rushed into signing a new striker after Alberto Paloschi picked up an ankle injury.
The Italian Under-21 international is expected to be out for about three months given that surgery is required on ligament damage.
“We’ll wait for the boy to be operated on and then we will have a more definite understanding of the situation,” Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori told Calcio News 24.
“It’s certainly not good news, but Chievo already have some valid alternatives even if we will evidently miss Alberto.
“Could we sign a replacement? We’ll see what his recovery time is expected to be and then we’ll make a decision.”
