Andriy Shevchenko oversaw his first training session this afternoon as the new coach of Genoa after replacing Davide Ballardini.
The former Milan striker and ex-Ukraine national team manager took the job on Sunday, signing a contract to June 2024.
He arrived in Genoa yesterday and this afternoon was the first session at the Gianluca Signorini training centre in Pegli.
Sheva’s debut on the Serie A bench will be against Jose Mourinho’s Roma on Sunday November 21, after the break for international duty.
