Massimiliano Allegri was fined following Juventus‘ 1-0 loss against Udinese, while Napoli may be forced to do without Victor Osimhen in the next Serie A game against Genoa, but still hope to get Antonio Conte for 2024-25.

Juventus have only collected one point in the last three games, so fans are discussing Allegri’s future, although the Livorno-born coach was defended by Bianconeri ultras on Monday night.

Allegri was irritable after the final whistle and made disrespectful comments towards the referee, receiving a €10,000 fine.

Inter are enjoying a seven-point lead over Juventus at the top of the Serie A table with a game in hand, while third-placed Milan are just one point below The Old Lady. Stefano Pioli had won his 100th game in charge of the Rossoneri on Sunday against Napoli and celebrated at Milanello on Tuesday with CEO Giorgio Furlani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Defending champions Napoli may need to wait until their Champions League game against Barcelona next week to see Osimhen return to action as the Nigeria international hasn’t yet returned from AFCON.

The Partenopei are waiting for somebody else too, namely Antonio Conte, who is seen as an ideal candidate to replace Mazzarri next season. According to Tuttosport, Aurelio De Laurentiis is still in touch with the Italian tactician and is waiting for a final decision on his new club in 2024-25.

Fiorentina and Bologna will meet at the Dall’Ara on Wednesday in a rescheduled fixture from Week 21. The Rossoblu coach, Thiago Motta, has said he won’t seek revenge against the Tuscans, who already eliminated Bologna from the Coppa Italia quarter-finals earlier this season.
