Report: PSG in talks with Milan for Kessie deal in January

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly contacted Milan, hoping to sign Franck Kessie already in January.

The Ivory Coast international’s deal with the Rossoneri expires in June 2022 and there’s reportedly a big gap between the player’s demands to renew and the offer from Milan.

Reports in Italy have suggested PSG are monitoring his situation, ready to offer the salary he wants at Parc des Princes.

Footmercato.net reports PSG director Leonardo has contacted Milan sporting director Paolo Maldini, proposing a negotiation for a move in January.

Report: Growing distance between Kessie and Milan

In this way, PSG anticipate the arrival of the Ivorian and Milan will avoid losing the player on a free transfer next summer.

Kessie has previously insisted he wants to stay at Milan for life but is currently not willing to lower his salary demands to remain in the fashion capital.

PSG are ready to offer him the requested €8m a year in order to bring the midfielder to the French capital.
