PSG to launch new talks with Inter for Skriniar

Paris Saint-Germain will approach Inter again this week to try and reach an agreement for Milan Skriniar.

Things fell quiet over the last few days after it became clear that there was a significant gap between PSG’s offer and Inter’s request, but confidence has started to grow again as the two clubs prepare to sit down for further talks.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG sporting director Luis Campos will hold talks with Inter CEO Beppe Marotta at some point in the early stages of this week to try and hash out a deal for Skriniar. The gap between offer and request is around €10m at this stage.

La Repubblica reported last week that PSG’s offer was €55m plus performance-related add-ons, which could total around €60m. Inter, on the other hand, are looking to pick up around €70m from the 27-year-old Slovakian centre back’s sale.

Inter are currently working to try and close out a deal for Gleison Bremer and the sale of Skriniar could give them the resources needed to beat out the interested Juventus.
