Paris Saint-Germain will approach Inter again this week to try and reach an agreement for Milan Skriniar.

Things fell quiet over the last few days after it became clear that there was a significant gap between PSG’s offer and Inter’s request, but confidence has started to grow again as the two clubs prepare to sit down for further talks.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG sporting director Luis Campos will hold talks with Inter CEO Beppe Marotta at some point in the early stages of this week to try and hash out a deal for Skriniar. The gap between offer and request is around €10m at this stage.

La Repubblica reported last week that PSG’s offer was €55m plus performance-related add-ons, which could total around €60m. Inter, on the other hand, are looking to pick up around €70m from the 27-year-old Slovakian centre back’s sale.

Inter are currently working to try and close out a deal for Gleison Bremer and the sale of Skriniar could give them the resources needed to beat out the interested Juventus.

  1. No, it’s the other way around. If Inter fail to get Bremer, then PSG must look somewhere else for new CB. Skriniar has already agreed to extend his contract at 5-6M. He’s happy at Inter and he can be the next Inter’s captain. Without fund from skriniar’s sale, Inter will settle for Milenkovic next year as free agent.

  2. @Rian But all we’ve been hearing is that Inter need to make at least 60m net from transfers so one way or another they will likely sell Skriniar. My guess is that they will get some released 30-something year old defender on the free, as they did with Dzeko for Lukaku, and hype it up as some great deal.

  3. @Geedup,
My friend, according to latest news (from sempre inter), Inter do not have to make profit this year. Next year perhaps. Worst case, we might need to sacrifice Lautaro. But the silver lining is we can get Raspadori and keep skriniar. Milenkovic may come to eventually replace SDV. Dzeko can be replaced with Satriano or Esposito next year.
