The on-loan Southampton forward has been suspended by the Nerazzurri following an altercation with teammate Mauro Icardi and Coach Roberto Mancini, then going AWOL for two days.

It was reported over the weekend that Osvaldo and the club would look to sue each other for damages, but the Gazzetta dello Sport states this morning that Diego Tavano is meeting with Nerazzurri chiefs in order to find an amicable solution.

That would probably involve a move for the Italian international, but the former Roma man has reportedly rejected QPR already, favouring a move to Milan or Juventus.

It’s believed the talks would centre around this, with Southampton willing, but Inter are reluctant to strengthen their domestic rivals.
