Official: Six Serie A players, including Dybala, in Argentina’s World Cup squad

Argentina have released their official squad for Qatar 2022, featuring six Serie A players, including Paulo Dybala.

The Roma star has been forced to the sidelines since October 9, but returned to group training this morning and could be available for the last game of the year in Serie A before the World Cup break.

Reports in Argentina claimed Dybala’s spot at the World Cup was unsure, but Scaloni has included him in the team flying to Qatar next week.

La Joya is one of the six Serie A players featuring in Scaloni’s 26-man squad list.

Juventus stars Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes are also part of the team and so are Inter strikers Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa. Joining them is Fiorentina forward Nicolas Gonzalez.

There are many other familiar faces for Serie A fans, including Rodrigo De Paul, Papu Gomez, Nahuel Molina, German Pezzella and Cristian Romero.

Argentina will make their debut at Qatar 2022 against Saudi Arabia on November 22 and will then face Mexico and Poland.
