Milan discuss Pellegri’s future with striker’s agent

According to reports in Italy, Milan could activate their clause to sign Pietro Pellegri permanently and loan him out in January.

The Diavoli met Pellegri’s agent Giuseppe Riso at Casa Milan today. Riso is also the representative of Sandro Tonali and Daniel Maldini.

Pellegri moved to San Siro from Monaco on an initial loan deal in the summer.

The Rossoneri have an option to make his move permanent for €6m and according to Calciomercato.com they could already activate it in January.

This despite Pellegri being struggling with injuries during his time with the Rossoneri.

The 20-year-old has only played 127 minutes across six games this term.

Torino are reportedly interested in loaning the player until June, but according to Sky Sport Italia, Sampdoria are also monitoring the former Genoa starlet.

Last week, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the Rossoneri could sign Nantes striker Randal Kolo Muani to replace Pellegri in January.

Kolo Muani’s contract expires in June and Milan are reportedly leading the race to secure his services.
