According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are interested in signing Nantes Randal Kolo Muani in January, so Pietro Pellegri could leave on loan.

Kolo Muani, 23, is regarded as one of the most promising strikers in France. Scorer of seven goals in 18 appearances this season, his contract with Nantes expires in the summer.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri directors are considering his signing in the January transfer window as Eintracht Frankfurt and Olympique De Marseille are also closely monitoring the striker.

According to the report, the Serie A giants are in pole position to secure Kolo Muani’s signature.

Milan’s centre forwards Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Olivier Giroud and Pietro Pellegrini have all been struggling with injuries this season, so the Rossoneri are looking to add a new man up front.

If Kolo Muani, then Pellegri could leave the club on loan. The former Genoa star joined the Rossoneri on a temporary basis from Monaco in the summer, but Milan are reportedly determined to confirm him for 2022-23.

  1. We have Colombo in Serie B and are heavily linked to Lucca. Are we going to make a team with a bunch of 20 year old strikers? Belotti is probably coming in the summer and Giroud has another year on his contract, not to mention Zlatan gunning for a new contract.

Imo, we better forget about strikers or defenders anyway, and sign an attacking midfielder first and foremost.

  2. @Milan Fan, we need them all. Unfortunately, the old adage holds water: defense wins championships. Milan’s return to top for contention is correlated with a vastly improved defense with Theo, Kjaer and Tomori. Juventus won 9 championships in a row essentially having the best defense in the league. Even after this season’s atrocious start they are only a few points away from the top 4 now because they are able to shut out their opponents. We also need young strikers who can score, stay on the pitch and most importantly run and press. Finally, as you say, we need an attacking midfielder and a proper RW. So 4 players to sort out between now and the beginning of next season.
