Juventus stars Vlahovic and Dybala getting along on and off the pitch

Dusan Vlahovic and Paulo Dybala once again played a crucial role in Juventus‘ victory last night and the strikers are proving to be on very good terms on and off the pitch.

Both players contributed massively to Juventus’ 2-1 win over Sassuolo in a Coppa Italia quarter-final clash last night. While Dybala scored the opener in the first half, Vlahovic forced Ruan Tressoldi to an own goal in minute 88. Dybala had provided the assist for Vlahovic’s first Juventus goal in Turin last week against Hellas Verona and the players seem to have an excellent understanding, not only on the pitch.

Vlahovic: ‘Fiorentina a game like any other for Juventus’

Vlahovic praised the Argentinean at the end of last night’s match, saying that he wants to reach his level and Alvaro Morata’s.

“We get along both on and off the field, as Paulo and Alvaro are really nice guys who have won so much. I am here to learn and try to reach their level,” the 22-year-old said.

They continued to celebrate on social media, where the former Fiorentina striker once again praised his new teammate on his Instagram stories. Dybala joked with Vlahovic, writing that he delivered another ‘great assist.’

Juventus fans hope they will continue to see the pair playing at the Allianz Stadium for a long time. Dybala’s contract expires at the end of the season and talks to extend his stay at the club will resume by the end of the month. After his goal against Sassuolo yesterday, fans in the Curva Sud chanted: ‘Dybala stay with us.’
