Juventus fans chanted for Paulo Dybala to ‘stay with us’ after his opening goal in the Coppa Italia quarter-final against Sassuolo.

La Joya found the target within three minutes of the match in Turin this evening, on the volley reacting to a deflected Weston McKennie shot.

The Bianconeri supporters rarely chant specifically for one player, but they made their position clear this evening.

‘Dybala, stay with us,’ was the chant that sprang up as he celebrated the goal.

The Argentina international is only under contract with Juventus until June 30, as negotiations over an extension were postponed until after the January transfer window.

There is still no progress, with reports the club has withdrawn its earlier agreed €10m per season salary, demanding he accept a lower figure.

Dybala could be a free agent this summer, with the likes of Liverpool, Inter, Tottenham Hotspur and PSG believed to be interested in a transfer swoop.
