Zidane: ‘I’ll make it easy for Real Madrid’

Zinedine Zidane assured he ‘won’t cause problems’ for Real Madrid, as there are reports Max Allegri is favourite to take over.

The coach’s future is up in the air after their Champions League semi-final exit to Chelsea, along with struggles throughout the Liga season.

He has a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2022, but told the media today that it was irrelevant.

“What I can say is that I will make things simple for the club, because they have given me everything,” said Zidane in his press conference.

“I don’t want to cause problems for the club. I will concentrate on the final four games and we’ll see about the rest later on.”

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia and newspaper Il Tirreno claim Real Madrid have already reached a basic agreement with Allegri.

The tactician is a free agent, having won the Scudetto with both Juventus and Milan in his career.
