Why Brazil are preparing for Qatar 2022 at Juventus’ training ground

Brazil are preparing for Qatar 2022 at Juventus‘ training ground and their coach Tite explained why the Seleçao has picked Continassa to train ahead of World Cup.

Brazil are one of the leading candidates to lift the trophy in Qatar in December and are preparing in Turin, precisely at Juventus’ training ground Continassa.

“We have a guideline in the preparation of the Brazilian team, we always strive for excellence. And here it is a question of preparing for a World Cup in a top-class place,” Tite said on Monday.

“The Juventus training centre offers this, in addition to the logistical facilities.”

Juventus have been training at their new ground since 2018 when they moved from Vinovo which is now being used by their youth and Women’s teams.

Brazil will also use the J-Hotel, also owned by the Bianconeri, which is adjacent to their training ground and has direct access to the pitch. Brazil players will stay at the J-Hotel until November 20, when they will take their flight to Qatar.

Three Juventus players, Danilo, Bremer and Alex Sandro, have been called up by Tite.

Brazil make their debut at Qatar 2022 on Thursday, November 24, against Dusan Vlahovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s Serbia.
