When Pogba could finally make Juventus return

Paul Pogba has been something of a phantasm for Juventus this season but soon could become a tangible part of Massimiliano Allegri’s squad in Turin.

The French midfielder signed a lucrative four-year contract with the Old Lady last summer after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer, but his return to the club did not start as planned.

Pogba suffered a knee injury during the pre-season tour in the United States and his decision to undergo a conservative treatment plan to avoid surgery did not pay off, worsening his injury and forcing him to undergo an operation in early September regardless.

As reported by Tuttosport, Pogba is showing some positive signs on the training ground and carried out part of yesterday’s session in Continassa with his Juventus teammates, suggesting that a return to action is not far away now.

Ahead of the win over Fiorentina, Allegri suggested that Pogba would still need around 20 days to be fit enough to take to the pitch, which would set him up for an appearance against Roma on March 5.

There are hopes, however, that he’ll be fit in time for the Derby della Mole against Torino on February 28.
