The Lega Serie A have chosen their top five goals from the fifth round of domestic fixtures, including impressive efforts from Rafael Leao, Domenico Berardi and Federico Dimarco.
Mario Palasic was also included in the video posted to the official Serie A YouTube channel on Monday, thanks to his well taken finish during La Dea’s 2-0 win over Cagliari.
Leao’s early, yet decisive goal in Milan’s victory over Hellas Verona was also selected by Serie A, as was Berardi’s fine curling effort from outside of the area in Sassuolo’s shock 4-2 win over Juventus.
Giacomo Bonaventura also makes the list for his injury-time strike with Fiorentina against Udinese, arriving on the edge of the area to slot past three charging defenders.
Arguably the most impressive strike of the weekend came from Dimarco, who provided Inter with their only goal of the game during Sunday’s win over Empoli.
The wing-back had positioned himself perfectly from a corner and did not have to move once the ball bounced towards him on the rebound. From there, Dimarco unleashed a perfectly executed half-volley which sailed beautifully past everybody in the penalty area and straight into the far top corner.
