Watch: Pjanic flies in for Besiktas medical

Miralem Pjanic has reached an agreement with Besiktas and is flying to Turkey to undergo his medical tests.

The former Juventus and Roma midfielder was in talks with the Old Lady during the summer transfer window, but the Serie A giants decided against signing him because Barcelona didn’t want to pay part of his salary.

The Bosnia international is now flying to Turkey, where he will undergo his medical examinations with Besiktas.

Pjanic posted a picture from a private jet on his Instagram stories to confirm that his move to Besiktas is a done deal with only medicals pending.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri expected Pjanic to return to Turin this summer.

The midfielder had left Turin in the summer of 2020, joining Barcelona in a swap deal with Arthur.

Pjanic can still move to Turkey where the summer transfer window ends on September 8.
