Walace racially abused by Lazio fans

Udinese midfielder Walace was allegedly racially abused by Lazio fans last night in a game that saw eagle trainer Juan Bernabe return to the stadium.

Bernabe had been suspended in October after making a fascist salute in front of Biancocelesti fans during the match between Lazio and Inter.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he returned to the stadium last night for the match between Lazio and Udinese, which ended in a 4-4 draw.

There was tension at the end of the game, with Luca Gotti’s side scoring a late equaliser and Walace seeing red.

According to the report, the Udinese midfielder was racially abused by Lazio fans who allegedly targeted him with monkey chants.

It’s not the first time that Lazio fans are involved in racist incidents this season. Milan‘s Tiemoue Bakayoko and Franck Kessié were also racially abused at the beginning of the season, same as Inter’s Denzel Dumfries.
