Sky: Why Adama Traoré prefers Milan to Roma

Both Milan and Roma are interested in Adama Traoré, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the ex-Wolves winger prefers the Rossoneri, who will play in the Champions League next season.

The Spain international is without a club, as his contract with the Premier League side expired on June 30.

Multiple reputable sources in Italy claim Milan and Roma are interested in signing the 27-year-old and according to Sky Sport Italia, Adama’s favourite option is to join the Rossoneri.

This is because Milan will play in the Champions League next season, but it doesn’t mean Roma won’t push for his signature.

Milan are still making their assessment for the right wing and have also targeted Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze. Pulisic would cost more than €20m, while the asking price for the Villarreal defender is circa €40m.

Adama collected 10 goals and 18 assists in 194 Premier League games, making one Champions League appearance and 16 in the Europa League.
