Sky: Gosens could start against Milan

Sky Sport Italia reports Atalanta are optimistic Robin Gosens can recover in time for the match against Milan on Sunday.

The Rossoneri travel to Bergamo for a decisive match in the battle for top four in Italy this term, and Gosens seemed set to miss out on the action as he suffered a knock in the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus.

The Germany international was replaced by Aleksei Miranchuk in the 83rd minute with an ankle injury in the 2-1 defeat to Juventus.

The Germany international was replaced by Aleksei Miranchuk in the 83rd minute with an ankle injury in the 2-1 defeat to Juventus.

However, Sky Sport Italia reports he is better already and is in contention to start against the Rossoneri this weekend.

A win for Atalanta will help Juventus, who need to see either Milan or Napoli drop points in the last round of fixtures to stand a chance of qualifying for the Champions League next term.
