‘San Siro no day out for Udinese’

Udinese boss Igor Tudor has insisted that ‘we’re not going to Milan for a day out’ on Tuesday as he eyes successive wins back at the helm.

Tudor marked his return to Udinese with a 2-0 victory over Genoa at the weekend, and next up for the Zebrette are a Milan side who have lost back-to-back games.

“We’re not going to Milan for a day out,” the former Juventus defender said at a Press conference.

“We’ll go with the best 11 players we have, to make the most of our game. We need to think about ourselves and work on the things we need to change.

“After that, we’ll see the results of others. The crucial thing is our training sessions. It’s on those that we must concentrate to the fullest, even if right now we’re doing everything without training.

“Milan are a team with great champions. Even if they’ve lost their last two games, they’re playing at home.

They’ll be even more fired up, but we’re not going to San Siro to look at the stadium.”
