Rrahmani out of Kosovo squad

Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani left the Kosovo squad last night due to a muscle injury and returns to Italy.

The 27-year-old centre-back missed the last two wins against Milan and Roma in Serie A due to the thigh injury and Kosovo have decided to send him back to Naples.

Rrahmani wouldn’t be available for the World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Spain this month and Il Mattino reports the former Hellas Verona defender has been sent back to Naples to continue the recovery programme at his club.
