‘Ramsey will leave, Arthur and Dybala…’ Allegri provides latest Juve transfer updates

Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will leave Juventus, providing some updates about the ongoing transfer market.

The Italian coach was speaking to gathered reporters in a press conference earlier today, ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Milan, and he shed some light on the futures of a number of Bianconeri stars.

First he confirmed that Ramsey will be leaving Juventus soon when providing an update on the condition of his squad.

“We still have to train and I have to evaluate everything. Everyone is fine apart from Bonucci and Ramsey, who has tested negative but is on his way out. After training I’ll know what formation to do.”

Allegri: ‘Talk about the Scudetto doesn’t make sense now’

Allegri then gave his thoughts on Argentinian forward Paulo Dybala, whose future is shrouded in doubt. The player’s contract expires with the club at the end of this season and a renewal initially seemed certain, but now things are a little more unclear.

“Paulo is better physically, he is growing, he is very calm. This helps him because he’s freer to play, he has less responsibility, I’m very happy with what he’s doing. I think he will give us a lot between now and the end of the season.”

Finally, the Juventus coach touched on Brazilian midfielder Arthur, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal recently.

“Let’s not forget that Arthur had been inactive for six months, he needed to find consistency. The player Arthur is not in question, he is a starter for Brazil even if he is not called up.”

There is a little over a week left in this month’s transfer market, meaning Juventus will need to work fast if they want to close out the departures of Ramsey and Arthur. For Dybala, the situation will drag on for another few months yet.
