Raiola has no regrets about Donnarumma’s move to PSG

Mino Raiola admits he has no regrets over Gigio Donnarumma’s move to PSG and confirms both Alessio Romagnoli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could extend with Milan.

Raiola met Milan directors in the morning to discuss Romagnoli and Ibrahimovic’s contract extensions.

Both players are reportedly willing to continue at San Siro, extending their current deals, which run out in June 2022.

Raiola spoke to a few reporters waiting for him outside Casa Milan after today’s meeting.

“It was a good meeting, but I don’t talk about ongoing negotiations,” Raiola said.

“Can he stay at Milan? Everything is possible. Ibrahimovic never changes, he is always the same. Can he extend? Everything is possible.”

Raiola asked if, among the reporters, there was somebody from La Gazzetta dello Sport as the pink paper had reported Milan were negotiating Romagnoli’s contract extension without talking to him.

The Italian agent also spoke about Gigio Donnarumma with the former Milan shot-stopper who has recently admitted his frustration regarding the lack of playing time at PSG.

Donnarumma faces foreseeable PSG dilemma

“It’s not a delicate situation, it’s a new situation. I’ve already said that there will be no problems and there won’t be,” the Italian agent said.

Did he talk to Milan about him?

“No, I don’t think I took him away from anyone, I am not a taxi driver. I work for my players’ good. I have no regrets.”

In the end, he was asked his thoughts on Federico Bernardeschi, who changed agent, swapping Raiola with Federico Pastorello.

“When I lose a player, it’s always my fault,” said Raiola.

“I wish Bernardeschi all the best. They are always free to leave. They aren’t prisoners.”
