Pogba brothers’ saga – what we know so far and why Mbappé is involved

Paul Pogba’s brother Mathias insists he has ‘explosive revelations’ about the Juventus star, who has already taken legal action against his brother and ‘an organised gang.’ Here’s what we know so far.

It all started on Sunday when Mathias, the older brother of Pogba, published an intimidating video on Instagram suggesting that he has ‘explosive revelations about the Juventus and France star.

“French, Italian, English and Spanish public deserve to know certain things,” he said.

“Basically, the whole world, including my brother’s fans, France, Juventus and his sponsors.

“They need to have the information and take an informed decision on whether he deserves respect and love from the fans. If he deserves to play for Juventus and a place in the France World Cup squad.

Mathias also mentioned Pogba’s agent Rafaela Pimenta and Kylian Mbappé. According to Gazzetta, Mathias alleges that Pogba hired a sorcerer to put a spell on his France teammate Kylian Mbappé who has become the biggest star of Les Blues.

This is what Mathias refers to in his latest Twitter post.

“Kylian, now do you understand? I have nothing negative against you, my words are for your good, and everything is true and proven. The marabou is known! Sorry to this brother, a so-called Muslim deep in witchcraft, it’s never good to have a hypocrite and a traitor near you.”

Sources close to Mbappé quoted by Gazzetta claim the PSG star is not concerned by the story which only involves the brothers Pogba.

But where did it all start?

Pogba’s lawyers revealed yesterday that they have already taken legal action against Pogba’s brother and an organised gang that allegedly blackmailed Pogba, demanding €13m and stealing €300,000 and a credit card from him.

Some childhood friends of Pogba are believed to be part of the gang which wants financial support from the ex-Manchester United star.

Paul Pogba’s lawyers said that Mathias’ claims were part of “threats and extortion attempts by an organized gang” against the Juventus midfielder.

“The competent authorities in Italy and France were informed a month ago and there will be no further comments in relation to the ongoing investigation.”

According to reports in France, Pogba was threatened with assault rifles in March, upon his return home, at  Lagny-sur-Marne.

Pogba was allegedly dragged into an apartment where he was accused of not having helped his friends financially since he became a football star.

More incidents allegedly occurred in Turin, with Pogba intimidated at Juventus’ training ground by a group of people, including his brother who has denied allegations on Twitter.
