Osvaldo injury confirmed by Roma

Roma will be without Pablo Daniel Osvaldo for the next two months because of injury, the club have announced.

The striker picked up a fitness issue in training earlier this week and he’s now undergone tests that have revealed the full extent of the problem.

The former Lecce, Bologna and Fiorentina man had an MRI scan this morning which showed a second degree strain to his right thigh.

Osvaldo is Roma’s top scorer this season with seven goals and the injury came less than 24 hours after Marco Borriello sealed his loan switch to rivals Juventus.
