Nzonzi, Matuidi in France squad

Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi and Roma’s Steven Nzonzi have been called-up to the France squad for the first two Nations League matches.

Les Bleus won the World Cup last month, and unsurprisingly Coach Didier Deschamps had opted to keep faith with the squad which triumphed in Russia.

Of the 23 who went to the tournament, only Steve Mandanda is left out after suffering an injury, with Benoit Costil replacing him.

Nzonzi and Matuidi both retain their places, and Adil Rami is back in despite apparently retiring after the World Cup.
