Not only Skriniar: which players could leave Inter this week

Inter defender Milan Skriniar is expected to complete his move to PSG by the end of the week, but other players will follow the Slovakia international out of the club in the coming days.

Inter must sell at least one of their stars to balance the books and June 30 is a key date, being the last day of the financial year. The Nerazzurri are expected to complete a big sale by the end of the month, with Skriniar being the leading candidate to leave the club for a hefty fee.

The Serie A giants seem to have lowered their asking price to €70m but are unwilling to include any player to reduce their demands further. Therefore, they have reportedly rejected the last offer from PSG: €60m plus Julian Draxler.

There will be a new virtual meeting between club directors in the next few days when Inter and PSG are expected to shake hands on the player’s transfer fee.

Skriniar won’t be the only player leaving the club soon. Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal, the highest earners at the club, have a contract until 2023, but Inter can terminate their contracts one year earlier by paying €4m each. According to Calciomercato.com, the Nerazzurri will soon meet the players’ agent Fernando Felicevich to discuss their departure and how much it’d cost the club.

Sebastiano Esposito will sign his contract with Anderlecht today, completing an initial loan move with an option to buy for €10m and a buy-back clause for Inter for circa €11.m.

More players will leave from July 1. Lorenzo Pirola and Stefano Sensi are in talks with Monza, who are also interested in Andrea Pinamonti. The Italy international is valued at €20m and is also monitored by Atalanta and Fiorentina.

Likewise, Lucien Agoumé and Ionut Radu are close to Cremonese while the Nerazzurri will listen to offers for Dalbert and Valentino Lazaro, who have returned from their loans but are not part of Simone Inzaghi’s plans.
