According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG want to include Julian Draxler in the deal to sign Milan Skriniar, but Inter will sell their star defender only for a cash offer.

The Ligue 1 champions saw a €50m bid rejected earlier this month but are still trying to reach an agreement with the Nerazzurri.

According to Gazzetta, the new offer from Paris is €60m plus Julian Draxler, but Inter don’t want to include any player in a swap deal and want only cash for Skriniar.

Beppe Marotta must earn circa €60m from this summer’s Mercato and cut Inter’s wage bill by 10-15%. Therefore, getting another player in a swap deal would not help the Nerazzurri director achieve his target.

Inter and PSG directors are expected to have a new contract this week. According to the report, the Serie A giants are looking for an offer in the region of €70m to sell Skriniar.

The Slovakia international’s contract runs out in 2023 and he is ready to sign a new deal with the Nerazzurri. However, a move to Paris remains more likely than his extension with the Serie A giants despite his desire not to part ways with Inter.
