“The Azzurri lost in the 90th minute when a draw seemed the more legitimate outcome of the match. A cutting right foot from [Radja] Nainggolan brought Roma a victory they were no longer expecting.

“We’re still second, representing the best return in Azzurri history up the 35th round. We start again next Monday at San Paolo.

“We face Atalanta, the first of three finals which separate us from the Champions League. The adventure continues, all united to achieve this feat.”
