Napoli open talks with Dybala

According to multiple reports in Italy, Napoli have joined the race to sign Paulo Dybala and club directors have opened talks with the striker’s entourage.

The Argentinean striker is available as a free agent after the end of his contract with Juventus.

Inter have been in talks with La Joya for several weeks, but negotiations have been put on hold following Romelu Lukaku’s return to the Stadio Meazza.

Inter have now joined the race to sign the former Juventus star and according to Il Corriere della Sera, Il Corriere dello Sport and Calciomercato.com, the Partenopei have also contacted the striker’s agents.

Dybala earned €7m per season plus add-ons at Juventus and according to multiple reports in Italy, he would get the same money at Inter, including bonuses.

At the end of 2021, the striker had reached an agreement to extend with Juventus for €10m per season.

Napoli have only discussed the player’s availability and haven’t yet discussed the financial details of a potential deal.

Milan are also monitoring the situation, but can’t afford to offer a €7m-a-year salary to Dybala.
