More than 50,000 fans queuing online for Roma vs. Leicester City tickets

More than 50,000 Roma fans have been queueing online to buy tickets for the Conference League semi-final second leg against Leicester City.

José Mourinho’s side will meet the Foxes in England next week, while the second leg will be played on May 5 in Rome.

The ticket sale for the decider in Rome began this morning and the response from the Giallorossi fans was more than impressive. According to multiple reports in Italy, more than 50,000 fans have been queuing online to buy tickets in the general sale, which will begin at 2 pm UK time.

However, Roma expect to sell most tickets for the game to season ticket holders who can buy three entrances each. As Forzaroma.info points out, there will be circa 5,000 tickets available for the general sale if 90% of season ticket holders buy two tickets each.

Despite some hot and cold results under Mourinho this season, Roma fans have always backed the coach and the team this season and Roma have the second-highest average attendance in Serie A with 39,413 fans per game. Milan are first with 40,673.
