Milan step up transfer chase for Nantes starlet Kolo Muani

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are interested in signing Nantes Randal Kolo Muani in January, so Pietro Pellegri could leave on loan.

Kolo Muani, 23, is regarded as one of the most promising strikers in France. Scorer of seven goals in 18 appearances this season, his contract with Nantes expires in the summer.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri directors are considering his signing in the January transfer window as Eintracht Frankfurt and Olympique De Marseille are also closely monitoring the striker.

According to the report, the Serie A giants are in pole position to secure Kolo Muani’s signature.

Milan’s centre forwards Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Olivier Giroud and Pietro Pellegrini have all been struggling with injuries this season, so the Rossoneri are looking to add a new man up front.

If Kolo Muani, then Pellegri could leave the club on loan. The former Genoa star joined the Rossoneri on a temporary basis from Monaco in the summer, but Milan are reportedly determined to confirm him for 2022-23.
