Milan statement on ‘professional’ Raiola rapport

Milan released a statement denying the Gazzetta dello Sport suggestion they are not speaking to agent Mino Raiola about his other clients after the Gianluigi Donnarumma debacle.

The report in this morning’s newspaper claimed Raiola is not allowed into the Milanello complex because of his role in steering goalkeeper Donnarumma to leave as a free agent over the summer.

It means Alessio Romagnoli, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and others have allegedly been discussing their contract extensions personally with the club rather than through Raiola.

However, this afternoon Milan released a statement via social media denying the suggestion they have barred Raiola or anyone else.

“With regards to the article published by the Gazzetta dello Sport today titled ‘Milan expel Raiola’, AC Milan would like to clarify that the Club maintains a professional rapport with all agents, without reservation.”
