Reports in Italy claim that Roma and Milan will finalise a swap deal involving Tammy Abraham and Alexis Saelemaekers, with the Giallorossi receiving compensation close to €10m.

Milan and Roma are working to finalise a swap deal involving Abraham and Saelemaekers and are expected to finalise the transfer today.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, both players have already agreed to personal terms with their new clubs, so Milan and Roma are confident they can complete the deal today. The pink paper and Fabrizio Romano say that negotiations will continue in the morning.

The Italian transfer expert says the deal’s structure is being discussed, but Roma are expected to get a fee exceeding €10m plus Saelemaekers.

Milan will try to lower Roma’s demands during today’s negotiations, but all the parties involved in the deal are pushing to make it happen.

Saelemaekers returned to Milan after a successful one-year loan at Bologna under Thiago Motta, while Abraham scored one goal in 12 appearances after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.
