Milan: De Ketelaere ruled out of Chelsea clash

Milan starlet Charles De Ketelaere didn’t attend this morning’s training session at Milanello due to a muscle injury and will miss tomorrow’s match against Chelsea.

The 21-year-old was introduced in the second half of Saturday’s Serie A game against Juventus but won’t be available against Chelsea in the Champions League tomorrow.

The ex-Club Burgge starlet didn’t train with the team this morning and won’t be included in the squad list for the match against the Blues.

He should be replaced by Brahim Diaz, who scored against Juventus on Saturday.

De Ketelaere worked in the gym this morning while Junior Messias returned to the pitch, partially training with the rest of the team.

It’s still unclear whether CDK will recover for Sunday’s game against Verona, while Messias could be available against Chelsea

Directors Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and Ivan Gazidis watched the training session from the touchline.

The Rossoneri will also be without Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Alexis Saelemaekers, Alessandro Florenzi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mike Maignan against the Blues.
