Milan could look to spend €100m in summer under new owners – report

Milan’s transfer budget could be as high as €100 million this summer, according to reports in Italy. 

The Scudetto winners are looking to continue their progression and have a selection of big-name targets for the summer transfer window. 

And, according to Gazzetta dello Sport the type of players they are targeting are giving the impression the new owners are preparing a massive transfer war chest. 

Lille midfielder Renato Sanches is expected to seal a move to the Rossoneri soon, while team-mate Sven Botman is also close to making the same move. 

Meanwhile, Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo is also a target, but Milan and the Giallorossi appear to be someway off in their valuations. 

The Rossoneri also appear to be in the market for new forward a move for Benfica forward Darwin Nunez mooted, though the Uruguay international could be out of their price range. 

A more realistic target could be Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic, who has also been linked.
