Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has got behind Gigi Del Neri in an effort to galvanise the team ahead of the season's climax.

The Old Lady recorded a third straight victory for the first time this season on Sunday with a come from behind win at home to Genoa.

Del Neri was whistled by the crowd even though Juventus now have an outside chance of qualifying for next year's Champions League.

"The most important thing is to let Del Neri quietly get on with his job because until the end of the season the team is with him," Marchisio told Radio Monte Carlo.

"The team has always been with him and the most important thing is to try and finish the season well with the mister. Then the club will have a way to make a decision."

Asked about the prospect of qualifying for the Champions League, Marchisio said: "The most important thing is to think about our games.

"We have to try and win them all to have any hope of finishing in fourth place. It's also true that Roma, Lazio and Udinese all have difficult games to come. It's all to play for."
