Latest Dybala news: Inter and Atletico in pole, Arsenal open talks

According to multiple reports in Italy, Inter and Atletico Madrid are in pole position to sign Paulo Dybala in the summer, but Arsenal have opened preliminary talks with the player’s entourage.

The Argentinean striker will leave Turin in the summer after a seven-year spell at the club. Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene confirmed yesterday that Dybala is no longer at the centre of the project, so the club didn’t even make an offer during yesterday’s meeting with his agents.

The Argentinean is now free to join any other club in the summer and according to multiple reports in Italy, Inter are leading the race to secure his services at the end of the season.

Although the representatives of the Argentinean deny that they will soon meet Inter directors, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport insist that the Nerazzurri are the most likely destination for La Joya. Beppe Marotta is an admirer of the 28-year-old, having signed him at Juventus from Palermo for €40m in 2015.

Tuttosport and Gazzetta mention Atletico Madrid as another concrete option for Dybala especially considering that Luis Suarez will leave at the end of his contract in the summer.

Tottenham, PSG and Barcelona are also monitoring the situation, according to the three primary Italian sports papers, while Gazzetta and Tuttosport report Arsenal have made initial contact with the player’s representative.
