According to multiple reports in Italy, Inter and Atletico Madrid are in pole position to sign Paulo Dybala in the summer, but Arsenal have opened preliminary talks with the player’s entourage.

The Argentinean striker will leave Turin in the summer after a seven-year spell at the club. Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene confirmed yesterday that Dybala is no longer at the centre of the project, so the club didn’t even make an offer during yesterday’s meeting with his agents.

The Argentinean is now free to join any other club in the summer and according to multiple reports in Italy, Inter are leading the race to secure his services at the end of the season.

Although the representatives of the Argentinean deny that they will soon meet Inter directors, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport insist that the Nerazzurri are the most likely destination for La Joya. Beppe Marotta is an admirer of the 28-year-old, having signed him at Juventus from Palermo for €40m in 2015.

Tuttosport and Gazzetta mention Atletico Madrid as another concrete option for Dybala especially considering that Luis Suarez will leave at the end of his contract in the summer.

Tottenham, PSG and Barcelona are also monitoring the situation, according to the three primary Italian sports papers, while Gazzetta and Tuttosport report Arsenal have made initial contact with the player’s representative.

  1. Slowbala in the EPL, now that would be hilarious.

    A. Madrid would be a good fit. Similar style from he is used to at Rubentus.

Hopefully not inter, for inters sake. Would just be another money drain for them.

  2. Most influential player Juve have on the pitch. You’re one of the many clowns here unfortunately @FORZA Juve

  3. Yes influental just we are always loosers. How you cant see how slow is this dybala and he always would been late with such avalanche players like chiesa and dv7 in front… He is to slow, we are tired of this baby no10

  4. Always losers???? Have you not been watching them for the last ten years? A front three of Chiesa, Vlahovic and Dybala would have been perfect. He suits the #10 role perfectly, links midfield to forwards and scores goals. The team’s performance always struggle without him.

  5. Simeone should pick up fellow Argentine for free – I predict that he will end up at Atletico de Madrid

  6. @Bunga2, Inter should not go for Messi either. Its clear that Messi became who he was because of his teammates, the team Barcelona built around him. All you need to do is look at that Argentina NT and quickly see the results have never been the same.
