Kessié could leave Milan in January amid PSG and Liverpool links

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Franck Kessié could leave Milan in January with PSG and Liverpool interested.

The Ivorian star sees his contract expire in June 2022, so, starting from next January, he can sign a pre-contract agreement with any other club ahead of a free summer move.

Milan have reportedly offered Kessié a new €6.5-a-year deal, but the former Atalanta man has requested an €8m contract.

Therefore, the Rossoneri are considering accepting offers for the 24-year-old in January, not to see him leave on a free transfer like Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Kessié’s highs and lows during the first months of the season also convince Milan to consider a sale for the former Atalanta man.

The next few meetings with the player’s agent George Atangana will be crucial to understand if Kessié wants to stay at Milan or is seeking a summer exit.

PSG and Liverpool are reportedly interested in the 24-year-old and the next few months will be crucial to figure out what the future has in store for the midfielder.
