Juventus star and Italy Euro 2020 winners among top 10 Serie A free agents in 2024

Adrien Rabiot and Piotr Zielinski are the most valuable Serie A players with a contract expiring at the end of the season: find out the top 10 free agents in Italy’s top flight in 2024.

The new year has just begun and, in transfer terms, it means players with a contract expiring in June can already sign a pre-contract agreement with any other club ahead of a free move over the summer.

A few big names in Serie A can leave on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

As highlighted by Transfermarkt, the most expensive one is Juventus‘ midfielder Rabiot. Scorer of three goals this season, including the last one of 2023 in Serie A, the Frenchman is valued at €40m.

After Saturday’s game against Roma, Rabiot said he is still unsure about his future in Turin. The 28-year-old signed a one-year contract extension with Juventus in 2023.

The former PSG star is followed by Zielinski, who is valued at €30m. Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has recently claimed that the Poland international may be tempted by a move up north. No coincidence that Inter and Juventus are among the clubs interested in the 29-year-old.

Lazio‘s Daichi Kamada is already available for free despite moving to the Stadio Olimpico as a free agent last summer. However, Japan international and the Biancocelesti can activate a clause to extend for a further campaign.

Napoli keeper and Euro 2020 winner Alex Meret could also leave at the end of his contract in June and the same is true of Lazio’s Felipe Anderson who is reportedly wanted by Juventus.

Fiorentina‘s Christian Kouamé and Gaetano Castrovilli (another European champion with Italy) will also be available for nothing in June, like Atalanta‘s Marten de Roon, Monza’s Pablo Mari and Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola.

It remains to be seen if Italy’s Euro 2020 hero will remain at the Stadio Olimpico until the end of the season as according to Sky Sport Italia, Galatasaray have set sights on the 30-year-old in January.
