Juventus meet Milinkovic-Savic’s agent and target Roma rebel Karsdorp

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus met Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent in Turin on Friday and have set their sights on Rick Karsdorp for January.

The Bianconeri are already preparing for the following two transfer windows and Gazzetta outlines their plans for the future.

The pink paper claims Juventus directors met SMS’ agent Mateja Kezman in Turin yesterday, days before the Serie A clash between the Old Lady and Lazio at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus do not have the financial resources to sign the Serbia international in January but are already working to secure a deal in the summer.

Lazio President Claudio Lotito demands at least €100m for his star, whose contract runs out in 2024. The Biancocelesti want to extend with SMS offering a new €4.5m-a-year deal, but Kezman doesn’t want to meet the club before or during the World Cup while his client is tempted to join a top club in Italy or Europe.

Juventus also have short-term strategies and aim to strengthen the team in January.

A new full-back is among their priorities and according to the pink paper, Roma rebel Rick Karsdorp is their primary target, followed by Real Madrid‘s Alvaro Odriozola.

Karsdorp is expected to leave Roma in January after José Mourinho said his attitude in a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo ‘betrayed’ the team.

The Special One didn’t name Karsdorp directly, but according to multiple reports, he was the player targeted by the Roma boss, who publicity told his player to find a new club in January.
