Juventus fans applaud Allegri for replacing Rabiot

Juventus fans in Curva Sud applauded Massimiliano Allegri at halftime when the announcer said that the coach had replaced Adrien Rabiot.

The Frenchman started in the middle of the park for the Bianconeri against Cagliari, but his game only lasted 45 minutes.

Allegri replaced the former PSG man with Weston McKennie during the break and when the Allianz Stadium announcer communicated the substitution, a big part of the Curva Sud applauded the Tuscan tactician.

The Allianz Stadium is almost empty tonight as only 11,172 fans are watching the game from the stands, the club announced.

Rabiot joined Juventus in a free transfer from PSG in 2019.

He is among the highest earners in Turin with a €7m-a-year salary.

Allegri has often claimed that the Frenchman must improve his performances, but the 26-year-old has still collected 19 appearances across all competitions this season.

Rabiot’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2023.

The France international has played 101 games with the Bianconeri, scoring six goals.
